Med Alert Ambulance, Inc. is a privately owned and operated medical transportation service and nursing registry. The company was incorporated in 1984 under Sussex Nursing Service. Med Alert was incorporated in 1986 to meet the growing needs of the community. Today, Med Alert is housed in a custom designed headquarters conveniently located in beautiful Sparta, New Jersey. A second location was opened in April, 2003, in Newark, New Jersey. The staff at Med Alert are experienced professionals in their area of expertise. Registered Nurses, ACLS certified are available 24 hours per day to assist in transporting critically ill patients.

Med Alert has 20 years experience in the ambulance industry, maintains strict efficiency and on time performance for our clients. Med Alert has successfully completed over 16,000 critical care transports and 350,000 BLS & MAV transports since 1984. The company has infrastructure in place to handle scheduling, dispatching and billing for all medical transportation needs.
